Voice, Body, Story: A Speaker’s Tool Box
Focusing on effective storytelling for public speaking, this session will provide you with a tool box of creative exercises and approaches to enable you to better present your work to diverse audiences. You will learn techniques to increase confidence, make better use of voice, body language and gesture, and better structure your content: creating a compelling and memorable narrative.
About the facilitator:
Polly Tisdall is an award winning performance storyteller, actor and theatre-maker. She has told stories at national and international festivals, theatres and story nights across the UK and directed work for national tour. She specialises in delivering public speaking training to enable participants to effectively engage audiences in complex subjects – and leave a lasting impact.
