Community

Our campus is designed to foster vibrant innovation communities – with rich event programmes, fantastic facilities and stellar spaces.

The Community and Events team is standing by ready to help you get the most out of everything on offer – whether it’s hooking up with like-minded businesses, or getting your teeth into street food. It’s a packed schedule every week in our event spaces.

Members of ARC Oxford have access to Oxford Works; a campus hub with break-out spaces, a cafe, bookable meeting rooms and event spaces.

Community Manager

Jodie Mcnamara

I have the best job in the world and have been here for nearly 20 years.  I organise all the fun stuff,  set the engagement plan and arrange the community events, exercise classes, BBQs, parties, educational courses and workplace wellness forums &  workshops for the members of our ARC Oxford community (of which we have nearly 3,000). Our ARC Oxford community is truly at the heart of the campus and of East Oxford.

I work from and manage the Oxford Works, which is our amazing collaborative workspace which has been designed to bring people together to enable them to work at their very best but also offers flexible working for when you need an inspiring environment to get your best thoughts down and The Market Place, where we hold our regular parties and open air cinema events.

I come from a big family and bringing people together and feeding them (hence the number of BBQs!) makes me so happy and I get to do this on a large scale…. all the time!
