Trade Mission to London for German Biotech SMEs
From 11–14 May 2026, in2NewMarkets, in collaboration with Life Science Integrates, is organising a biotech trade mission to the UK for German SMEs, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). The delegation will bring together 13 innovative German SMEs, representing a broad spectrum of the biotechnology sector, from cutting-edge biotech developers to contract research organisations (CROs). These companies are keen to explore opportunities in the UK market and establish meaningful partnerships with UK stakeholders across research, industry, and investment. During the visit, the delegation will present their technologies and capabilities at an official presentation session, followed by a networking reception providing opportunities to connect with the visiting companies. The companies are also available for individual meetings with potential partners, collaborators, investors, and customers interested in exploring joint opportunities. The delegation will be present at the Bio Integrates Conference on Thursday, 14 May.
Bio Integrates addresses the needs of innovative companies developing the therapies of the future, providing a distinguished forum to discuss the current challenges impacting the biotech sector, as well as strategies for unlocking potential and accelerating success. With a focus on the start-ups, biotech, and emerging pharmaceutical segments, Bio Integrates offers a unique opportunity to engage with senior executives in biotechnology, contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMO), supply chain, and investment sectors.
This visit is part of the business opportunities module of the Foreign Market Entry Programme and will facilitate business contacts as well as provide important impulses for the further intensification of the fruitful co-operation between the United Kingdom and Germany. The Foreign Market Entry Programme assists German Small and Medium-Sized Businesses during all stages of their export activities. Participating businesses receive widespread support from the initial stages of market exploration up to the making of actual business contacts, e.g., by providing first-hand market information, organizing exploration trips and building networks. Key element of this support is the personal assistance during preparation, implementation and follow-up of these measures to ensure that the business arrangements are of high quality and sustainable.
HEALTH MADE IN GERMANY is the export initiative for the German healthcare industry. The initiative supports international companies and organizations that are interested in establishing contact with potential German partners and suppliers. Set up by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the initiative bundles expert market intelligence for easy industry success. One of its main goals is to promote the German healthcare sector through international networking for the mutual benefit of international partners and German companies alike.
