ARC BOOK FESTIVAL
The ARC Uxbridge community has always loved a good book, so after the growing success of our Book Club, we’re launching our first-ever Book Festival 📖
On the 12th and 13th June at ARC Uxbridge, we’ll be bringing together acclaimed authors, thought-provoking conversations, and readers from across the community.
Among the speakers is award-winning writer and broadcaster Sathnam Sanghera, joining us for a fireside conversation around his latest book, George Michael: Tonight the Music Seems So Loud.
Best known for blending personal storytelling with sharp cultural insight, Sathnam brings his signature depth and curiosity to the life of George Michael.
Sathnam has twice been shortlisted for the Costa Book Awards, for his memoir The Boy With The Topknot (later adapted by BBC Drama) and his novel Marriage Material. His acclaimed non-fiction book Empireland became an instant Sunday Times bestseller and led to the Channel 4 documentary Empire State of Mind, earning him a Best Presenter shortlisting at the Grierson Awards.
