ARC shortlisted for Workspace of the Year at Hustle Awards 2025

ARC has been named a finalist for Workspace of the Year at the 2025 Hustle Awards, in recognition of its commitment to designing inclusive workspaces that empower its growing community of scientists and innovators.

The nomination follows a pioneering research initiative conducted by ARC in collaboration with global design firm HOK and the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). The study revealed that traditional workspaces designed to foster scientific and technological advancement often overlook the sensory processing needs of their users, ultimately limiting their potential.

“At ARC, we understand the importance of creating spaces that support our members in solving the world’s greatest challenges. Until now, the industry has failed to address the needs and experiences of neurodiverse individuals, prioritising sterile aesthetics and open-plan spaces without places to decompress. We’re committed to changing this by designing inclusive scientific environments that enable our members to deliver life-changing science.” Jenny Gardner, Development Director, ARC.

Every year, the Hustle Awards champion the individuals, startups, and scaleups pushing the boundaries of innovation, resilience, and impact. The 2025 shortlist showcases the most forward-thinking founders, trailblazing technologies, and inspiring stories from across the startup landscape.
