Stuart is Co-Founder of CoreLife Investors, adviser to Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, CEO of Harwell Campus and ARC and has more than 25 years of real estate experience.

Stuart began his career in Asia-Pacific as an International Executive with Jardine Matheson Ltd. before starting his real estate investment career at Blackstone in London and Hong Kong. During his 18 years at Blackstone, he held a variety of leadership positions playing a key role in building Blackstone’s Real Estate business in the region

As CFO and COO of ARC, Jim manages all finance and leasing activities across our real estate portfolio.

After a degree in English Literature at Leeds University, Jim joined Ernst & Young – starting an eight-year career here in management consultancy before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Preferring the financial control and organisational side of the business, he found working in transactions and corporate restructuring especially satisfying. This role also gave Jim the chance to work with a variety of businesses across the world, including in Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Iceland, gaining valuable experience in a short space of time.

Jim became Financial Controller of P3 Logistic Parks, which develops logistics properties in the Czech Republic. Then after a two-and-a-half-year stint at as European Director of Finance and Operations of Exeter Property Group, a €3 billion AUM, he joined Harwell in January 2021 and later ARC, on its launch in May 2022.
