ARC recognised by British Diversity Awards for its inclusive practices

ARC – Advanced Research Clusters – has been recognised by the British Diversity Awards for its holistic approach to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across its four campuses, securing a finalist spot in the Outstanding Ability Network Category.

At the heart of this achievement is ARC’s Neuroinclusive Network, launched last year to:

  • Raise awareness of neurodiversity across its member organisations.
  • Promote creation of more inclusive lab spaces.
  • Establish a network-wide Employee Resource Group to foster engagement and education.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious platforms for promoting inclusivity, the British Diversity Awards spotlight those who are not just talking about change but are actively driving it.

ARC has set a new standard for inclusivity across the industry, spearheading ground-breaking research and championing neurodiversity as a superpower. By fostering inclusivity, ARC aims to empower the sector to build a future that benefits all of humanity.

The awards’ organisers stress the urgency of their mission: “At a time when societal division are widening, and minorities are increasingly targeted, it is more important than ever to champion DEI. Equality, respect, and inclusion should be non-negotiable rights for everyone – but achieving this requires commitment, resilience and leadership, which our finalists embody year after year.”

ARC is shortlisted alongside: Avanade, Capita, CBRE UK, Cisco, Clifford Chance, GSK, Haleon, HSBC UK, Mace, Nationwide Building Society and The University of Wolverhampton.
