ARC takes finalist spot at Hustle Awards
ARC, one of Europe’s leading networks of science and innovation clusters, has been named as one of the finalists for the Outstanding Start-ups Support at the 2023 Hustle Awards.
ARC was named as a finalist for its efforts to help its start-up community of over 130 members succeed at a global level, by bringing together, founders, scientists, academics, and investors across its network of campuses to help unlock innovation and solve some of the world’s most pressing problems.
From incubator programmes with 87 percent success rate, funding that encourages cross sector collaboration, through to dedicated sector specialists to support the Life Sciences, Energy, Space and Quantum community, and science-ready accelerator spaces, ARC’s ecosystem is curated to help small ideas flourish.
Stuart Grant, CEO of ARC, said: “I’m honoured that ARC has been named as a finalist in the Outstanding Start-ups Support category at the prestigious Hustle Awards. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team and our partners in creating spaces that help our member community to scale at pace. Being acknowledged among such innovative organisations is a true privilege and motivates us to continue providing environments that support our members to make a positive impact globally.
Across the clusters ARC is investing £1bn by late 2020’s in new developments, to ensure there is space for companies to scale and grow. The investment will see its ARC Oxford Campus double in size, bringing new clean rooms, and cutting-edge R&D facilities. ARC is also sustainably converting office space to lab space to accommodate the sharp rise in life science organisations which will see it’s West London campus add over 150,000sq. ft of new laboratories and will see its accelerator space Motherlabs more than double in size.
Run by Startups magazine, The Hustle Awards celebrate start-ups and those that work within the start-up ecosystem, to support, invest and collaborate.
