Kesmalea Therapeutics has secured Series A investment from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.synconaltd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Syncona<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordscienceenterprises.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oxford Science Enterprises<\/a> totalling \u00a325 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/epsilogen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Epsilogen <\/a>a global leader in the development of immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies, has taken the remaining suite in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgroup.io\/west-london\/motherlabs\/\">Motherlabs<\/a> as it continues to develop a new class of anti-cancer drug following successful clinical trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All New Lab Space <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With strong demand for lab space, ARC is expanding Motherlabs into its new, adjacent development, \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgroup.io\/west-london\/properties\/refinery\/\">Refinery<\/a>\u2019 (A 150,000 sq. ft lab development, ready later this year). ARC will devote most of the ground floor of Refinery to Motherlabs, to create more space for start-ups and seed stage companies to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accelerator space is now home to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.econicbio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Econic Biosciences<\/a>, focused on developing treatments for aggressive and resistant cancers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saniarx.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sania Therapeutics<\/a>, a seed stage gene therapy business developing treatments for people with neurological disorders, <a href=\"https:\/\/genincode.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GENinCode<\/a> which specialises in genetic risk assessment and prediction of cardiovascular disease and Epsilogen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill-with-arrow\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">Learn more about Motherlabs<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Pagella, ARC\u2019s Senior Director, said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to welcome Kesmalea Therapeutics to our thriving community of life science organisations and to announce the expansion of Motherlabs at ARC West London to provide more science ready fitted lab space for early and growth stage businesses focused on the transformative potential of scientific research and development.
